Teaching at Valor - Overview

Being a part of the teaching faculty at Valor is an incredibly rewarding endeavor.  Teachers at Valor meet the following requirements:

  • They have an abiding faith in Jesus Christ founded on a personal relationship with Him and they are committed to growing in their knowledge and understanding of his Lordship.
  • They have a strong desire to integrate their faith with the execution of their duties and they are prepared and capable of doing so. All faculty and staff members of Valor are eager to share their lives and their faith with our students. We call it mentoring and its requirements extend beyond the classroom and beyond the school day. It is a “life-on-life” requirement and calling to be focused and involved in helping to prepare tomorrow’s leaders to transform the world for Christ.
  • They are highly skilled and prepared in their respective discipline of teaching, coaching, leading, and serving. They know their craft and will continually be life learners and will always seek ways to be more prepared to impart truth to our students.
  • They are committed to Valor’s mission and vision and will bring all their time, talent, and treasure to bear to help execute on these plans.

In return, Valor's commitment to its faculty and staff is to maintain a high standard in hiring new colleagues, to compensate among the best in Colorado, to empower employees for success wherever they serve at Valor, and to hold each person accountable to creating a remarkable school.
