Valor Christian High School Library

The mission of the Valor Library and Research Center is to strengthen the information literacy skills of the students and faculty through activities and resources that support Valor's curriculum and use of technology. A variety of viewpoints are represented in books, audiotapes, periodicals and electronic resources to stimulate critical thinking, authentic research and a love of reading.

The Valor Library is open from 7:15-5:30, Monday through Friday.

Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center - Expert views on controversial issues, featuring viewpoint articles; topic overviews; full-text magazine, academic journal and newspaper articles; primary source documents; statistics; images and podcasts; and links to web sites. Biography Resource Center - Biographies of people throughout history with images and links to hand-picked web sites; people from all eras and fields of endeavor. Science Resource Center - Comprehensive coverage of earth science, life science, and more with topic overviews, experiments, biographies, pictures and illustrations. CQ Researcher: Great research on current issues. EbscoHOST: Database of magazines, newspapers, and peer-reviewed journals for research. Discovery Education Streaming Video
