The VTTA (Valor Table Tennis Association) meets regularly at lunch to play some matches.  We held a tournament in October, rating our players based on their performances.  We are using the same rating system as the USTTA.  Currently, the club president is Mark Hutmacher, the vice-president is Matt Corral, and the treasurer is Kane Knutson.  On March 30, the three officers and myself entered the Aurora Table Tennis Club’s Spring tournament.  We came away with the sportsmanship trophy for our school, and Mr. Scherrei earned a runner-up trophy for his pool in the round-robin style play.  The club is hoping to expand to 5 tables next year in the basement, and we hope to raise some money to purchase items like new nets, a ball dispenser, balls, some table partitions for tournaments, and rubber floor mats.
