Different from writing or speaking, the Fine Arts offer a unique way of communicating experience, and the proper training in the arts develops a healthy lifelong aesthetic. The Arts are important at Valor because they help develop the “whole child” (body, mind, soul, and spirit) and we believe that no human activity comes so close to mirroring the creative nature of God. At the same time the Arts help us understand the beauty of creation and of the Creator.

The Valor Christian High School Fine Arts Department seeks to stimulate both the taste and the skill needed to express the Christian heart in a relevant, artistic, and authentic manner. Our faculty is actively doing, as well as teaching, their respective disciplines, and is able, therefore, to combine theory with professional viability, knowledge with inspiration.
