In early December, Valor Arts put on a large scale original production entitled TV Dinner Christmas in the Valor Athletic Building. The performance brought theater, dance, original music and film together in a production which was both wild and wacky, yet ultimately beauti­ful in its telling of the true meaning of Christmas. Written by the Valor Arts faculty and collec­tively created with a group of 130 students, the piece marked an enormous creative endeavor which found reward in playing to an enthusiastic audience of 1,900 over three nights. The performance was coupled with an equally successful gallery reception with live music and desserts. Over 160 Valor artists showcased their artwork. Student artwork was available for purchase and the proceeds helped offset trip costs for arts students.
