Visual and Performing Arts Center

"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden.  Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl.  Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.  In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds, and praise your Father in heaven."

Matthew 4:14-16, NIV Life Application Study Bible

Valor Christian High School's desire to build a strong Visual and Performing Arts program and an Arts Center stems from a deeply rooted commitment to be such a light. We want our students to learn to season their world with the goodness that stems from a walk with God. We want to equip them with the ability to do top level creative work that demands an audience. Additionally, we want to enable them to significantly impact their world as they aspire to become leaders in the arts and media.  In short, we want to create an arts program which serves as a beacon of truth and is marked by excellence, on a scale unmatched in the Denver area, as well as be a positive and lasting influence on our culture.

Our plans for the Valor Center for Visual and Performing Arts include:

  • 750-seat auditorium with full-fly stage, stagecraft room, and orchestra pit
  • Dance studio
  • Instrumental and vocal performance rooms with recording studios
  • Television production studios
