Appointed 2008: Mrs. Allen joined Valor as the Administrative Assistant/Front Desk Lead and moved to the Dean’s Department the following year. Her role covers a broad base of responsibilities. Her greatest passion is the study of God’s word and its application in her daily activities. Mrs. Allen has a deep heart to see all students get connected, find their own gifts and strengths, and to grow in the Lord. Prior to Valor, she spent 18 years at home with her children; Lauren, Christopher and Blake, two of which are Valor graduates and one is a Valor Fellow. She has been married to Skip for almost 25 years. She feels blessed to be a part of such an awesome community.
Appointed 2008: Prior to her appointment at Valor, Mrs. Anderson worked in private practice counseling, with domestic violence offenders and court ordered substance abuse clients. She was drawn back to high school age students during the inaugural year at Valor, as an Assistant Coach for the girls swim program. Mrs. Anderson started working at Valor full-time in August of 2008. In addition to being a Counselor and Coach at Valor, she is a part of the Senior Seminar Team, and has led Valor Discovery teams to Africa for 3 years. She was fortunate to spend the summer of 2012 serving in Kenya with her husband, Davin. Mrs. Anderson and Davin met in college, where they were both on the triathlon team, and have been married since 2006. The happy couple are true Coloradoans; they love the outdoors, and enjoy climbing 14ers in the summer and snowshoeing in the winter. They also love to travel; and have been blessed with opportunities to visit Germany, Australia, Canada, Brazil, Peru, and France together.

Appointed 2007: Ms. Beckie serves at Valor as an Academic and College Counselor.
Appointed 2011: Prior to Mrs. Brzezinski's role at Valor she spent several years working in the business industry.
Appointed 2011: Prior to joining Valor, Mrs. Carlson has been at home raising their three children. She has been very active in MOPS, Community Bible Study, small group advisory board at CHCC as well as the Valor Moms Bible Study.

Appointed 2011: Prior to coming to Valor, Mrs. Fresquez worked as a business consultant for small to mid-size non-profit organizations assisting them with their accounting and strategic planning requirements. She has also worked as a Financial Analyst for large Fortune 100 companies.
Appointed 2008: Mr. Gautier is entering his ninth year in education and fifth year at Valor. He is excited to assume the new role as Director of Academic and College Counseling while continuing as the Head Speech and Debate Coach. Prior to his appointment at Valor, Mr. Gautier taught for three years in Plano, Texas at Jasper High School. There he served as the Head Speech and Debate Coach and as a member of the Communications and Social Studies Departments. While at Jasper, Mr. Gautier developed a program to emphasize social responsibility, which was recognized by Time Warner Cable with their National Teacher Awards in 2007. He and his wife, Jen, are about to celebrate ten years of marriage and he is the father of three young boys.
Appointed: 2011 Mrs. Gegen came to Valor in 2007, as a parent volunteer, prior to her Substitute Librarian position in 2009. She has been married to Mike for 28 years and is mom to two boys and two girls, both of who graduated from Valor. Mrs. Gegen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from Colorado State University and a Master’s degree in Public Health from Colorado University. She loves to travel and has served in Kenya, Trinidad and Tobago, as well as, Mexico. Nancy also enjoys being outside, visiting her children and, of course, reading!
Appointed 2008: Ms. Gillett is the Athletics Coordinator at Valor as well as the founding softball Coach. Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education and Health from Cedarville University and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Athletic Administration and Coaching. Stephanie enjoys her involvement in the Valor community with the many hats she wears and is excited for the growth in the softball program. She also enjoys serving in the community and has experience on mission trips across the US and in Italy.
Appointed 2012: Prior to her appointment at Valor, Ms. Hampe served as the Director of Annual Giving and Special Programs for Kent Denver School in Englewood, CO.
Appointed 2007: Prior to Valor, Mrs. Harper worked in Education in Texas.
Appointed 2012: Prior to joining Valor, Mr. Heiner owned and managed a local sports performance training center. He has also been an active strength and conditioning trainer for all athletes and all sports from the elementary to professional level.
Appointed 2011: Prior to joining Valor, Mr. Holland served in the NFL as a defensive tackle. He has also been involved in commercial investment real estate and property management. Mr. Holland founded True Life Church in Broomfield and Renovation Church in Thornton and continues to serve as the pastor at True Life Church.
Appointed 2009: Prior to joining Valor, Mrs. Howell enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom. She brings years of experience as a Corporate Accountant.
Appointed 2012: Prior to joining Valor, Mrs. Kay served at a local K-12 Christian school in both the elementary front office and as the Admissions Coordinator for 10 years. The last year and half, she has worked as an Optometric Technician at private optometry practice in Highlands Ranch.
Appointed 2009: Mr. Kula joined Valor as the Assistant Athletic Director. Prior to Valor, he worked at Littleton High School teaching Physical Education/Health. He has several years of coaching experience and also serves as Valor's Head Track and Field coach and the Head Freshmen Football Coach.

Appointed 2008: Prior to Valor, Angela was a stay-at-home mom. Prior to this she was a merchandise buyer.
Appointed 2006: Prior to joining Valor, Mrs. McVaney worked at J.D. Edwards/Oracle as a Senior Technology Manager responsible for a team of consultants performing global implementations of J.D. Edwards OneWorld software.
Appointed 2009: Ms. Nault started as a parent volunteer in the Food Service Department 6 years ago. Her son, Jake Steese, was among the first graduating class to complete all four years at Valor. At that time, Denise’s involvement expanded from that of a volunteer, to a staff role. Denise’s love of food and people is a great fit for her as she serves with the Department of Food Services and Volunteer Coordinator for the lunchroom and Bistro. With her sense of humor, she has been known to dress up as, “Dottie, the lunch lady”!
Appointed 2012: Prior to her employment at Valor in 2012, Ms. Neff attended John Brown University where she served as Director of Women’s Ministry. After a year of graduate school in New York City, she returned to Colorado full time. Ms. Neff has worked since 2004 as a whitewater rafting and backpacking guide in Buena Vista. She is currently working on her Master’s of Arts in School Counseling at University of Colorado - Denver.

Appointed 2012: Ms. Schramm joined Valor as the Assistant Athletic Trainer. She has worked in various training and physical therapy venues in Montana and taught Health Sciences at Montana State University.
Appointed 2007: Prior to his appointment as Head Athletic Trainer, Mr. Schroeder spent two years working as an athletic trainer at the University of Idaho. Mr. Schroeder also served as the Head Athletic Trainer at Orange Lutheran High School in Orange, CA.
Appointed 2009: Prior to joining Valor, Mr. Shepherd worked in the printing industry.
Appointed 2008: Mrs. Spencer has served as the Event Coordinator for Valor since 2008. Previously, she worked for Texas Eastern (Duke Energy) for 13 years as a gas pipeline Account Manager. During that time, she coordinated many executive customer meetings for the Marketing Department. Mrs. Spencer is passionate about serving others and loves working with the parents, faculty and staff to create successful special events. Mrs. Spencer and her husband, Craig, live in Highlands Ranch with their son Brandon who currently attends Valor. They also have a daughter, Christina, a Valor graduate, who attends Whitworth University in Spokane. She enjoys golf, cooking, and entertaining in her spare time.

Appointed 2011: Mr. Truesdale was appointed in 2011, as a Fellow in the newly created Valor Fellows program. He found his niche serving in the Athletic Department and this year will be heading up Valor’s youth sports programs and camps. Prior to coming to Valor, Mr. Truesdale was employed by Big Brothers Big Sisters, was the director of K-Life Youth Ministries in Pine Bluff, Arkansas and was an assistant basketball Coach at the college level. He is a graduate of Evangel University where he participated in football and was the starting point guard on Evangel’s 2002 NAIA National Championship basketball team. Mr. Truesdale is also a member of the Valor boys basketball coaching staff.
Appointed 2011: Mr. VanSoest attended Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, earning his Bachelor of Arts in Management Information Systems. Mr. VanSoest continued at Point Loma and completed his course work for his Master of Arts in Educational Counseling, while serving as an undergraduate Admissions Counselor, for 4 years. Mr. VanSoest loves spending time running, skiing, fishing, playing guitar, and last but not least…storm chasing! He is thankful for the creation that surrounds him in Colorado, and the ability to work, play, and worship our Creator in such a marvelous setting.
Appointed 2007: Prior to his appointment at Valor, Mr. Wahl taught for nine years in the public school system, most recently at Mountain Vista High School.
